Gore Wear

I have been lucky to work with Gore Wear as a brand ambassador for over 4 years now. I was originally turned on to them 6 yrs+ ago when I first got into cycling and I was lucky that Bloomington Cycle & Fitness always carried a full line of Gore Wear apparel. I think what sold me was BCF’s cold gear info nights where I learned how to dress so I could ride outside all year long with the right layering and products. This has appealed to me as a self diagnosed training addict. So fast forward 6yrs as my ability and experience has advanced from cycling newbie status to a competitive gravel racer… so has my love for Gore Wear apparel.

Here is my must have list if you’re looking to start your collection too.

Must have:
GORE® C7 GORE® WINDSTOPPER® Pro Zip-Off Jersey – this is by far my favorite piece. I love the front chest phone pocket for easy access, and the removable sleeves for endurance rides where the weather fluctuates 10-20 degrees from start to finish. With the wind-stopper technology you can layer this with various Gore base-layers and easily be comfortable all the way down into the upper 30 degree range

Really nice to haves:
Stretch Shake-Dry Jacket – this is a pricey item but man is it nice. It’s so compact that I often have it in a jersey pocket anytime rain is in the forecast. The shake-dry technology is so slick that it is also a really nice outer layer when temps are dropping at the end of a ride and you still want breath-ability as you know that team ride is going to pop-off on the way back!
