First off, what is a Flahute?
The best answer is a man or woman who is the toughest… not the fastest or the fittest… the toughest!
Ex: The type of rider who wins races where 150 riders start and one finishes—that’s a Flahute.
So let’s get off the couch and get outside this February and flex our toughness!
So then what is February Flahutes?
9 stages in total that comprise a series of saddle toughness and group hangs, with a mix of outdoor riding, indoor riding, as well as our Century Clinic, Flat Changing Clinic and our Gravel 101 session.
P.S. Shop discounts will be offered to all participants after each event… but here’s the catch, you must participate to get the password and each password will only be good for 48 hours, so don’t hit snooze on these events!
OPEN TO EVERYONE!
Grab a friend and let’s roll. You score points just by participating with prizes going to our podium finishers at the end of the month. There will also be a Specialized / Skratch Labs rider of the night… chosen after each event by your fearless leaders.
Do you have to be fit, nope, just complete the ride and score some points (first person back scores the same as the last). The FF Score will be updated after each event… the more you participate, the more points you get. What kind of bikes are needed? Run whatchu brung as they say… but bike recommendations will be made on each ride event on Facebook. Questions? Message Tom Keller for quickest response times, 3, 2, 1, go!
Are you tough enough to take on the February Flahutes ride series?

Points System: Riders earn points based on each rides temperature (colder = more points). The points formula is 25pts + a bonus point for each degree below freezing on the “feels like” temp at weather.com for start of the outdoor ride. *Clinics, Zwift, and indoor rides will be worth 10 points per hour. Current Scoreboard as of (02/27/20).
Ride Pace: Overall these will be endurance paced rides used to build base fitness mileage while still being able to socialize for those who are actively riding, and also a very good workout for those who are new to these types of events.
